This policy explains how LucrativeTECH (“LucrativeTECH”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through lucrativetechng.com, our contact form, our recruitment portal, WhatsApp, and when you email or call us. We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and other applicable laws.
Our products — Zent CRM, Churchly, Keza App and Farm RMS — have their own privacy notices, which explain how data is handled inside those products. This policy covers this website and our agency services.
1. Who we are
LucrativeTECH is a software development agency based at 7 Adeyinka Osijo Street, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria. For personal data collected through this website, we are the data controller. You can reach us at hello@lucrativetechng.com or +234 901 174 3759.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, email address and phone number, and — if you choose — the service you’re interested in and your message. Submissions are processed by Formspree, a form-handling service that delivers them to us by email.
- WhatsApp chats: if you message our sales team on WhatsApp, we receive your WhatsApp name, phone number and the messages you send.
- Job applications: the details and documents you submit through our recruitment portal, also hosted at crm.lucrativetechng.com.
- Emails, calls and meetings: anything you choose to share with us when you contact us or work with us.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. We use this to keep the website secure and working.
- Spam protection: Formspree may process technical information, such as your IP address, to filter out spam submissions to our contact form.
We do not use advertising or analytics trackers on this website.
3. How we use your data
We only use personal data where we have a lawful basis under the NDPA:
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare proposals or quotes — because you asked us to, and to take steps before entering into a contract with you.
- To deliver projects and support for clients — to perform our contract.
- To consider job applications — to take steps before entering into an employment or service contract, and with your consent where required.
- To keep our website and systems secure and prevent spam and abuse — our legitimate interests.
- To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements.
We do not sell your personal data. Contacting us does not add you to a mailing list.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only when necessary, with:
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host, Formspree (which receives contact form submissions and forwards them to us), our email provider and our customer management system. They may only use your data to provide their services to us.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
- Authorities, where we are required to by law or to protect our rights.
- A buyer or successor if our business is reorganised or sold, under the same protections described here.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers, including Formspree, store or process data outside Nigeria (for example, in the United States). Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards permitted under the NDPA, such as adequacy, contractual protections or your consent.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t lead to a project: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client records: for the length of our relationship, then for as long as the law requires (for example, financial records).
- Job applications: up to 12 months after the role is filled, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Contact form submissions held in our Formspree account: deleted in line with the enquiry period above.
- Server logs: a limited period set by our hosting provider.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections, restricted access to systems and secure handling of credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission where the law requires us to.
8. Your rights
Under the NDPA you have the right to:
- be informed about how your data is used, and to access a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected, and have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent; and
- not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing.
To use any of these rights, email hello@lucrativetechng.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
9. Cookies and embedded content
This website does not set cookies. Our recruitment portal is hosted on crm.lucrativetechng.com and may use cookies that are necessary for it to work.
If you choose to chat with us on WhatsApp, your use of WhatsApp is covered by WhatsApp’s Privacy Policy.
Some pages include a YouTube video. It only loads — from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain — when you press play. Once it loads, YouTube (Google) may collect data under Google’s Privacy Policy.
Links to other websites, including our products and our clients’ websites, are governed by those websites’ own privacy policies.
10. Children
This website and our agency services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
